The FIELDS OF OPPORTUNITY℠ Apprenticeship Program is a transformative 10-month leadership journey designed to cultivate the next generation of confident, strategic, and influential leaders in Napa Valley’s wine industry.
Through personalized coaching, collaborative learning, and real-world experiences, participants gain the skills and insight needed to lead with confidence and purpose.

Expert Coaching
In the 2025/2026 academic year, Mayra Hernandez, Founder & CEO of Mayra Hernandez Coaching, will guide students throughout their apprenticeship.
With over 15 years of experience in the wine industry, Mayra is an ICF Certified Leadership & Mindset Coach who brings deep expertise in helping emerging leaders develop self-awareness, confidence, and strategic focus.
She will connect with each participant directly to share:

Success in the FIELDS OF OPPORTUNITY℠ Apprenticeship Program requires active engagement and dedication. Participants are expected to:
Arrive prepared and engaged for all coaching sessions and workshops
Complete a digital reflection journal after each session
Participate fully in group learning and networking opportunities
Apply new skills and insights in your current workplace
Communicate openly with your coach about challenges and progress.
