Women's Leadership
The Women’s Leadership Workshops support new and aspiring female vineyard supervisors across Napa Valley’s wine-grape industry. Launched in 2022, this one-day workshop series connects participants with senior leaders and expert trainers in a collaborative environment designed for career advancement.
Each spring, a new cohort participates in a strengths-based leadership assessment, creating a shared language for understanding leadership styles and applying individual strengths in the workplace. Health and wellness—essential to effective leadership—are woven throughout the program.
Participants reconvene in late summer for a follow-up workshop, where alumni come together to share experiences, strengthen connections, and expand their professional network. Ongoing engagement is supported through a dedicated WhatsApp group, fostering real-time connection, resource sharing, and peer support.
This continuous feedback loop shapes future programming, with past sessions including virus identification training with UC Cooperative Extension Davis and practical team-building strategies participants can bring back to their crews.
Through the Women’s Leadership Workshops, participants build the skills, confidence, and community needed to lead—both on the job and beyond.
