Small Tool Maintenance & Repair Workshop for Crew Leaders

Day/Date

Friday, November 28

Time

1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Summary

This workshop is designed to explore the mechanics of tractor operation, including the importance of DPF regeneration, how the 3-point hitch system performs different functions, and key practices to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on your equipment.

Participants will also learn about the PTO shaft and implements that operate at various speeds—comparing 540 RPM, 1000 RPM, and the newer 540E RPM, which can significantly reduce fuel consumption and associated costs. The session will also cover modern tractors' electronic buttons and switches, explaining what they do and how they work.

The workshop will be led by Oscar Sanchez of Walsh Vineyards, with additional insights provided by New Holland and Kubota.
