UpValley Family Centers and Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation have teamed up to bring you expert, IRS-certified tax advice through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program!

  • This partnership ensures farmworking families can access trusted guidance and support during tax season—at no cost.

  • VITA team members are IRS-certified and will provide free expert tax preparation services for income-qualifying households.

  • The service helps taxpayers to maximize refunds, including Earned Income and Child Care Tax Credit claims.


Please note that all programs are in Spanish unless otherwise specified.

Complimentary for Napa County farmworkers. This private event is for registered farmworkers only.

Train-the-Trainer: Heat Illness Prevention

Summary

Train-the-Trainers are designed to help vineyard supervisors build practical leadership and teaching skills. The class covers current heat illness regulations, signs and symptoms, hydration requirements, and prevention strategies to help keep crews safe and companies in compliance. Participants will practice interactive teaching techniques and learn how to lead clear, effective safety trainings for their teams. This course is intended for supervisors responsible for providing safety training. Limit two participants per company.
