Math Literacy

The Math Literacy Program strengthens the practical math skills used in both the workplace and everyday situations. Math is more than numbers—it’s a foundation for critical thinking, problem-solving, and efficiency in vineyard operations. These courses help vineyard professionals build confidence with measurements, calculations, and data analysis while applying mathematical concepts to real-world tasks.

Whether estimating harvest yields, managing inventory, or improving precision in daily vineyard work, stronger math skills support better decision-making, increased productivity, and greater workplace impact—while also opening pathways to expanded responsibilities and career advancement.

Each year, the Foundation offers several math courses, which include workbooks and other materials tailored to vineyard professionals’ everyday work:

  • Math Course: Workplace Focus
