Class

This safety training is designed specifically for safety coordinators of small companies.

Session One:

This session focuses on proper implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to prevent accidental equipment start-up during maintenance, repairs, and cleaning. Special attention is given to identifying hazardous energy sources, safely shutting down and isolating equipment, and establishing clear procedures that protect workers when servicing pumps, conveyors, crush equipment, irrigation systems, and other powered machinery commonly used in vineyard and winery settings.

Session Two:

This session addresses the unique safety challenges of night harvest. Topics include working safely around tractors and gondolas, headlamps, moving equipment, reduced visibility, fatigue management, communication in the dark, and maintaining situational awareness during harvest operations when crews, machinery, and lighting are all in motion at the same time.
