FWF: Tell me a little bit about yourself. What is your name and position at work? Where are you from originally?
Gloria: My name is Gloria Camacho Martinez. I’ve lived in the USA for 23 years. I’ve been working for Bazan for the last 8 years.

FWF: What do you like best about the work? What is hard about the work?
Gloria: I like to tie up plants in this season. I also like the suckering, although I am not very fast. The most difficult thing is the harvest, working at night. Working at night in the dark is difficult.

FWF: What skills are required to do your job well?
Gloria: Learn to get experience. Being open to learn.

FWF: What is your favorite season in the vineyard?
Gloria:  My favorite is this one, we are tying up. We are also pre-pruning, this is another type of vineyard, where the wires are, we are cutting them, so that those who are pruning will find it easier

FWF: Did you have, or have you ever had a mentor at work? Tell us about them.
Gloria: My husband taught me how to work in the vineyard.

FWF: What advice would you give to others who want to be successful in the vineyard?
Gloria:  If they want to work, they can come here, and we will teach them.
